"House of Dancing Water" is an original water show with artist performances created by Franco Dragone, the famous Belgian director, in collaboration with the Chinese group Melco Resorts & Entertainment. This original show is presented at the City of Dreams in Macau, China since 2009.
A perfectly integrated custom-made water show
One of the most striking features of this show is the innovative use of water as a central element of the performance. The theater itself is equipped with a huge pool that can contain up to 10 million liters of water, providing a unique water playground for performers.
The water effects designed by Aquatique Show to compose this custom-made water show make it possible to both choreograph a real water ballet, but also to embody and highlight narrative moments by increasing the emotion of a sequence of the show.
The composition of the water show
More than 200 water jets synchronized with music and scenography make up the water show.
Straight jets 20 meters high arranged in a checkerboard pattern across the entire stage create frenetic and hypnotic rhythms that follow the artists' choreographies.
Columnar jets, real columns 40cm diameter and 20 meters high, create a water palace and rumble when they emerge from the floor.
A hundred arches surround the stage and form a corolla that encompasses the action.
Rain crowns the stage, bringing a natural and romantic effect to the narration.
A custom made water show for a love story full of twists and turns
The plot of the show revolves around an epic love story, featuring fantastic characters and breathtaking acrobatic acts. Performances include dizzying acrobatic dives, synchronized dances, astonishing stunts and even motorcycles gliding through water. The combination of these elements creates a show where the performance mixes surprises and emotions.

The production team implemented cutting-edge technologies to bring this show to life, with special effects such as video projections, spectacular light effects, and sophisticated stage mechanics. Aquatique Show was able to integrate hundreds of electrical cables and water hoses into a very complex stage structure and allowed a total surprise effect where water appears out of nowhere.
Nearly 4,000 people come together every evening to discover this show. On stage, 80 artists, acrobats, dancers, divers, stuntmen, contortionists provide a magical moment.
The show stage is one of the largest water stages in the world.
