The Magic of Water settles permanently in the Austrian district of Europa Park
For several years, Aquatique Show had produced temporary night water shows in the lake in the Austrian district as part of Halloween or Christmas festivities.
The Austrian lake also offered a daytime boat ride in a jungle world and interactive water effects installed by Aquatique Show in the 90s could be operated via a dockside console in front of the entrance to the promenade.

The rehabilitation of the Austrian district was designed for a triple purpose:
A boat ride into the world of Josephine, with new water effects to create a complete water setting.
A water show by day and night on the theme of the empress.
This permanent installation also makes it possible to program future themed shows (Christmas, Halloween, etc.).
A permanent custom-made water show
The concept of the water show is to avoid too classic symmetry to be able to invest the entire lake and so that the water effects can also be used for the promenade.
Instead of a center, there is a heart of show which is therefore not at the center!
The water effects are an alternation of baroque effects in the pure tradition of fountains to highlight the imperial style of the Austrian district, and contemporary effects such as moving jets which bring rhythm to the show and allow all types of choreography.
The asymmetry of the show allows the viewer to be surprised since the effects seem to appear in improbable places, and in the depth of field, appear in different sizes.
This original implementation of water effects produces a custom-made water show where the effects interact and seem to respond to each other.
The permanent water show is made up of around sixty effects with heights of up to 40 meters; some effects can be swapped to temporarily receive water screens and thus offer a multimedia show.

The boat ride is a journey in a magnificent setting themed after the famous empress. Based on initial ideas from the Europa Park creative team, Aquatique Show designed surprising and unique water effects.
The water dress
of Josephine
With crystal clear water, the empress's water dress is a very soft and light effect. Surrounded by water lilies, this painting is full of grace and magic.
The water wings

Elegant and languorous, the swan's water wings are one of the first effects of the walk.ffets de la promenade.

An adaptation of our water tunnel integrated into a decorative element which gives it the appearance of a garden greenhouse.
Other water effects, tulips, foam jets
and an imperial water tea service
enrich this joyful walk.
The complete project for the Austrian district was an opportunity to think of a water show as a journey along which the spectator walks.
